Film Screening

On Friday, September 13 from 18:30-20:30, the Conference will be hosting a film screening of “101 Flight” – an Uzbek biographical dramatic film about Flight 101, the Uzbekistan Airways Boeing 757 that was diverted from New York City on the morning of September 11, 2001. This event is co-sponsored by the “Vatandoshlar” Public Foundation of Uzbekistan. Free refreshments will be offered to the attendees.

CESS Members’ Meeting and Keynote

The annual CESS members’ meeting will be taking place at 16:15 on Saturday, September 14 in the Maxwell Auditorium located on the Maxwell ground floor, where we will be announcing the results of the CESS Board Elections and talking about the plan for the year ahead. The meeting is open to all.

This will be followed by the keynote lecture delivered by Dr. Bhavna Davé at 16:30 in the same Auditorium. Afterwards, we will host a reception from 18:00-19:30 in Eggers Commons on the second floor of the Eggers building.
