2021 CESS Annual Conference Now Entirely Virtual

In light of the surging number of cases of COVID-19 and continuing difficulties of international travel, the CESS Board has decided to switch the format of the 2021 Annual Conference to entirely virtual. Please do not make any travel plans to attend the conference in person. The conference will be hosted entirely online, with support from the Ohio State University, on the original dates of October 14–17, 2021.

Due to logistical constraints, the Conference Committee is only able to accept pre-formed panels. All presenters (on panels, roundtables, author-critic forums, or book-in-progress sessions) MUST have an active CESS membership for 2021. If you have proposed an individual paper, CESS looks forward to providing a forum for sharing your work in the future, when circumstances permit.

Due to the scaled back format and in order to encourage broad attendance, the Conference Committee has decided to waive registration fees. This is a special exception in response to circumstances in 2021. A free registration is required to attend the conference. There is no membership requirement in order to attend as an audience member.
