Yaşar Sarı

As a professor in the Department of International Relations and director of the Center for Eurasian Studies at Ibn Haldun University, I have dedicated my career to advancing the study of Eurasian affairs. I hold a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia, where my research focused on the foreign policies of the Caucasus states. Throughout my academic journey, I have served in various esteemed institutions, including Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, the American University of Central Asia, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and Osh Technological University. My scholarly contributions include numerous books, book chapters, reports, and articles on Central Asian politics, energy diplomacy, and Turkish foreign policy. Additionally, I have organized and led conferences, workshops, and seminars centered on the Eurasian region. My candidacy for the board is driven by a deep commitment to fostering regional cooperation and broadening the scope of Eurasian studies. I aim to contribute to a comprehensive understanding of this dynamic geography.
